Into the Void
I don't like deleting fic, but I did delete one of my WIPs today . I downloaded a pdf and will keep it in case a plot occurs. I thought it was a good idea: a Psycho inspired story from my Men in Kilts 'verse where BBC Sherlock's John and Lestrade go undercover as cleaning crew at The Bates Inn to solve a cold missing persons case. But I really didn't know how to proceed.
But because I am Like That, and I felt like I need at least an entry for every day of Kinktober and one of the chapters was my only entry for Day 2, I wrote a quick Cheers Holmescest spanking ficlet to fill that space. No one cares but me, but it would bother me like a mouth ulcer if I left a day open.
So now I just need 4 more fills to finish out Kinktober. 2 of them will be my Wonder Bred Omegaverse BBC Sherlock, pregnancy and lactation prompts and one is the last of the BBC Sherlock glitter monograph fills (stuck in a wall--which is such a fun kinky prompt).
And then I have Day 29 which would be Feet or Bestiality or Dacryphilia (crying kink). I like feet and bestiality, both would work. Crying, I'm not so keen on.
Also 3 more fills for gen prompt bingo and I'll have a blackout. Wee! I get way too excited about these things
Has anyone seen Venom 2? I was thinking of actually going to a theater to see it next week (the exterminators are coming AGAIN! holy fuck, somebody in the building must've bugs bad but I'm glad it isn't us, but it means I need to vacate the premises). I was thinking of doing an Eddie/Venom fic based on #2 for my Heliocentrism prompt at gen prompt bingo. Heliocentrism (is for Losers) [heh, heh]
Does anyone know anything about World of Darkness / Chronicles of Darkness werewolves? I have no clue about Role Playing Games. Seriously, I got nothing. But I got criticism on my Werewolf Watson/Vampire Holmes fic that my Werewolf Watson wasn't as Bad-Ass as these other werewolves. The commentor wasn't rude but they were very disappointed that Watson was 'just the biographer' and not as powerful as Holmes' vampire, etc. I tried to google and it's just gibberish to me. But I was thinking of doing the Storyworks fill for the Moon prompt with a fic to see if I could answer their concerns a bit. I pointed out to them it is CANON that Watson is the biographer and I'm not really interested in writing a Watson who isn't a sidekick. I mean, you do you, but to me, Holmes is the point. I got plenty of everymen in my life. Give me someone not so every.
In the grand scheme of things, nothing but, you know, that's what's occupying my thoughts these days.
