I am fannish about Poe stories and poems, and this is the time of year I think about his works most. I have a puzzle of covers, which I have kept. I would like to do it again sometime. I've also done some Dupin porn (like you do!) with Sherlock Holmes and with the narrator of "Rue Morgue." I have seen Poe tarot decks at barnes & Noble and I'm always tempted but have never bought. But I also know that Poe is problematic on many fronts and last night I read Playing in the Dark: Whiteness and the Literary Imagination By Toni Morrison which is a series of essays of literary criticism including critique of Poe.

This reminded me that I have the Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe but I'm yet to read it! I should get to it.
