The last of the paper buildings which I'm interested in is Saint Basil's of Russia (I might do The Great Wall of China but the rest are American and/or Catholic and not interesting to me). It's a very festive-looking thing.
That is adorable and looks like it would soothe a certain kind of obsessive itch I have to work on something detailed and unimportant. (No intention to imply it's inherently unimportant.)
Thank you! I did think it would be nice for the holidays with the colors. And it does fulfill an itch when I want to do something with my hands but I don't have or can't work on a jigsaw puzzle. It requires enough thought that I can turn off some parts of my brain. I have kept the Grand Mosque and Angkor Wat (on top of my tower of puzzle boxes) but the rest of them I have thrown away so, yeah, it isn't really a permanent kind of thing.
Thank you! I took badly knitted suggestion and used a clothes pin sometimes to hold things while the glue dried. That made it a bit less fiddly--at least I could walk away.
