Stuck!

My flight home is cancelled so I am stuck in Las Vegas.

Also the airport shuttle never arrived, and no one at the hotel would help me. The man in front of me at the taxi stand paid for my taxi. And ask the taxi driver to 'take care of me.'

I am so glad this is happening now and not on the way here.

Send good vibes that I make it home sometime.

Oh gosh…an unexpected extension to your adventure…is the airline company in touch with you, to help sort this…and are you stuck at the airport or in the city?

I was in a queue for 5 hours. In that time, the boys' father booked a different flight. They are giving me a partial refund but it's still going to be $$$. And I don't leave until 9 hours from now. So I am sleeping in the airport tonight. No hotel voucher. And they gave me $7 for food. 😢

Yeah, I got 21 hours to wait. We'll see. The boys'father booked me on a flight to a different airport. But I won't get in until Monday morning. It's a mess. I am like a homeless person in the airport.

Ugh, that sucks. The last time I took a Big Trip, my friends and I were flying from Toronto to Edinburgh and the plane we were supposed to be on came into the airport with mechanical issues. As did the next two or three. We did, at least, finally get out eight or nine hours after our original flight time, but that was a miserable wait because it was overnight. I hope you manage some sleep.

Yeah, they don't make it easy because all these chairs in the waiting area have uncomfortable arms so if you want to stretch out you have to do it on te floor. I am tempted now to curl up by the window. There are some doing it.
