Per request, I got a birdseed house for the balcony. It's been pouring rain all day so I am going to wait for a sunny dry day to put it out.

I don't think I've heard of a birdseed house before—very elaborate! I hope it attracts lots of birds :D

We'll see. It's got dried apricots on it as well as seeds. I have a bevy of obese, entitled squirrels who frequent my balcony. I wonder what they will make of it.

That birdseed house looks delightful! Where can one obtain such things? I dare say the squirrels would be the main beneficiaries, but the house is so charming.

Thank you! It was in the window of a Hallmark (greeting card) store in the US. I passed by and thought it looked fun.

Yes, so far, none of the birds have shown much interest. The squirrels will be by soon enough. They are greedy things.

It's so cute! I love the apricot flowers. I hope the squirrels and birds appreciate them :D

The squirrels have taken a first serious pass at it but have left the apricots in tact. I will give it a couple of days. We have crows and even vultures about so I might get second visitors.
