Sunshine Challenge #1: Iris & Pink Rose

Iris

I do collage journalling, and I did a small spread in my art journal of Van Gogh's irises. Inspired by my friend [personal profile] smallhobbit's photo and ficlet of yellow irises also did a [Sherlock Holmes (ACD) gen, g-rate, 800 words] ficlet on [community profile] emotion100 about Mrs. Hudson & Mrs. Turner's friendship and a bouquet of yellow irises: Uncertain.

Pink Rose

But my big thing is I want to do a Monthly Tarot prompt. So my prompt for July is: The Magician.

It can mean resourcefulness, inspired action, power, or literally, magic. It can mean going from 'I'm ready' to 'I'm actually doing this.'

I did a spread with pink roses and I invite any and everyone who might be inspired to use it as they will in whatever form.

Yaaaay! I look forward to seeing more. :D Do you get plant catalogs, or know anyone who does? I've used those as collage materials.

Thank you! It's actually an original canon. One of my readers prompted for a soulbond, and I figured it'd be popular because people do it in fanfic all the time. I routinely mine fanfic for things I can load into my original canons, so I got some lists of soulbond/soulmark tropes and picked out a set that seemed promising as the framework. We've had a lot of fun with this.

Of course, it does work for AU too, and I've had fans do that with various parts of my writing. If someone looked up the vocabulary and parameters, it might be recogizable as a specific setting. The soul trope field is pretty mix-and-match.
