6. Cherries
7. Funnel cakes
8. Ice cream
9. Lemonade
10. Snow cones
I had 2 cherry stickers, so I did this small collage.

Collage Journaling: Alice
Jul. 5th, 2025 12:08 pmNot my best work. I've done several Alice in Wonderland-themed collages which are much better than this. But my brain is not my friend at the moment, and I have filled up the last of my three inserts I was using for collage so I will be using my Agatha Christie notebook and my art notebook going forward. Both are smaller but I think that might be a good thing.

Journaling Prompt: Light up your journal with activity this month. Talk about your goals for July or for the second half of 2025.
Creative Prompt: Shine a light on your own creativity. Create anything you want (an image, an icon, a story, a poem, or a craft) and share it with your community.
Here is my monthly planner spread in my Hobonichi techo for July. July's theme color is GOLD.

Collage Journal: rsc
May. 23rd, 2025 03:03 pmSo I tried to combine several things and it just didn't work.
I got this fun chocolate bar from the Royal Shakespeare Company. I was going to write a poem inspired by it, but my next prompt is insects and I looked up Shakespeare and insects and found an article on carrion maggots and worms and I don't have any maggot stickers and really this wrapper is just too pretty to put maggots with it even if I did have them, so I did a simple collage (only 5 elements) and I will write my maggot poem separately.

Day 8 Prompt: fairy
May's theme color is purple so I did a purple fairy collage.

Question of the Day
Day 8/ 2 MAY. What's the most interesting thing you have in your pockets right now?
I don't have anything in my pocket, it's a tiny no-pocket in my shorts, but I have my bag with me (I am fleeing the heat of the day at the public library) and I have (among other things) Minor's Epi-Pen and key chains with Mang (a squirrel in a horse mask) and Shooky (an angry cookie) and my Hobonichi Cousin planeer (with what I call the Scrabble cover and is officially called Unsodo: Shin-Bijutsukai).

Happy Saint Patrick's Day
Mar. 17th, 2025 05:44 pmHappy Saint Patrick's Day!
I made green eggs and ham for the boys. They weren't impressed. I ended up finishing the ham with one of my FAVORITE seasonal treats: Bailey's Irish Cream cake. YUM!

I also did a collage.

And I am binge listening to audio versions of stories by Irish Le Fanu and did a ficlet for his story "Schalken the Painter."
Title: Beauty
Prompt: beauty
Fandom: "Schalken the Painter" (short story by Sherdian Le Fanu)
Rating: Gen
Length: 500
Summary: Schalken sells his soul for his art.
