Advent Day 28: Icicles

Unfortunately, I haven't had any icicles yet this winter. So this poem from last December will have to do.

in cold suspended fall
cavernous spikes extend their jagged points towards ground
in cold suspended fall
columns of translucent transmutation, ice shawl
lingering on the shoulder-eave, hoar yarn unwound
escape fail, fugitive drops are bound in cold
suspended fall

Yeah, I'm really not a fan of ice on the sidewalks and parking lots so they can stay away. Thank you!
