Day 12: Who is someone that you share the most fandoms with?

I share a good number with smallhobbit, Sherlock Holmes in various incarnations and Golden Age of Crime authors and I read some of hers that are in fandoms I've never watched (Spooks MI-5 and Person of Interest). But Hobbit doesn't like the far ends of my tastes, meaning, horror and smut.

I am grateful for garonne on the horror side because I think we share a sensibility and they have found media that I wouldn't have known about otherwise and have enjoyed. As far as smut, I don't know that there's anyone who overlaps with my tastes a lot. ancientreader, vulgarweed, firecat cover some of the waterfront but not all, I think.


But a big shout-out has to go to Tishy (a-cumberbatch-of-cookies) who has been a near constant and always supportive commentor on my fics from the first, early days of genderswapped BBC Sherlock to some ACD to The Old Guard. She's very dear to me.

And it's nice to find commentors who liked your niche characters. Custardcrush likes Jeeves and Wooster AND--and this is the incredible part--has a weakness (as I do) for my fem!Mycroft, it's nice to squee about fem!Mycroft with them.

That's a reasonable assessment. I didn't answer this question, although you'd be the person I share most fandoms with, but not things like Call The Midwife and Shakespeare.

I don't mind beta-ing Call the Midwife (or anything or yours) but, yeah, I'm probably not going to watch it. Or the Leonard show. Or that Gene one. And I know the gist of some Shakespeare plays but I don't know many of the other characters. Like if it's not Romeo or Hamlet or Othello, I start getting confused. But I like "The Hobbit" so that's another one we share.
