I streamlined my profile. I think some people prefer a sticky post, but I'd rather put it all in the profile section and have the top of my journal proper be my latest post.

About Me

My journal is a mix of fannish and personal posts.

I fic. Most of my fic is archived on AO3, where I am okapi. I also write poetry, original and fannish.

I post about my hobbies: jigsaw puzzles, crafting, reading, and audiobooks. I like detectives and detective stories.

My fandoms change and evolve, but my main fandom is Sherlock Holmes (original ACD stories and BBC Sherlock as well as smaller iterations like The Great Mouse Detective and Russian versions). Other fandoms include: BTS, Agatha Christie works, Jeeves & Wooster, Venom, Good Omens, and The Old Guard.

Friending Policy: Feel free to friend and de-friend at will. I shan’t be offended and shall do the same. I am very free with access but keep a somewhat narrow subscription list. Most of my posts are unlocked/public. I try to tag for things that might be triggering, but please feel free to ask for something to be tagged.

I generally prefer Golden Age of Crime mysteries, so cosy but the modern version of cosy. Historical cosy. I also like hard boiled detectives from the same era, e.g., Raymond Chandler & Dashiell Hammett.

Thanks! It's all Joe/Nicky, mostly smut but other lighter fare, too.

I'm currently enjoying a cozy mystery series called Cat in the Stacks by Miranda Lambert, if that's up your alley.

My own problem usually isn't lack of prompts, but I appreciate the heads up on the two communities. Every now and then I get the bingo urge.

I like prompts because they inspire me to write things I might not have written otherwise.
