Snowflake Challenge 2022 #8

Challenge #8
In your own space, celebrate a personal win from the past year: it can be a list of fanworks you're especially proud of, a gift of your time to the community, a quality or skill you cultivated in yourself, something you generally feel went well.
Warning for mention of self-harm/cutting
This is the only thing I could think of. Sorry it's a bit meh.
I didn't cut once in 2021. I don't even remember having the urge.
Cutting is a habit I've had on and off since I was 15 and after not being an issue for many years, it flared up with a vengeance after the 2016 US presidential election and my turning my back on my extended family, the faith I grew up in, and most of my old acquaintances. The urge was aggravated by interactions related to my son's soccer team. Moving him to a lower, less expensive, less-vocally-Republican team for the autumn 2021 was the right decision for many reasons, and I can definitely say that contributed.
So one less thing to worry about (for now) and I am working through a DBT (dialectical behavior therapy) skills workbook to help it stay that way.
