Yesterday was the autumn equinox so it will be all autumn-Hallowe'en-pumpkin spice in this journal until Xmas! Yay! Also the boys' uncle arrived so I may be out of pocket more than usual for the next week. Here is an autumn spread.
I haven't, but now that you suggested it, I will! I don't know how it will work, but it is worth trying.
It's okay. The best part was yesterday when I got 7 whole hours completely to myself (I didn't even have to make certain my phone was on in case Something Happened) and I went around the National Gallery of Art and the Hirshorn Museum (which is modern art). It was really nice.
I can imagine you would definitely step up your journalling & postcarding game if that works out. :D (Speaking of which, and I'm truly embarrassed by asking, but did I already thank you for your wonderful card that I found some weeks ago in my mailbox?? If not-- I'm truly sorry and ashamed, but would have SWORN I did so. I have the words of thanks in my head, I just don't know if I sent them on their way or not. ðŸ˜)
These 7 hours off sound like HEAVEN! I hope you treated yourself to something sweet and delicioius between the galleries! Did you re-visit some old faves or discovered something new-- or both? :)
Oh, good. I was wondering if it arrived. I have sent cards to England that took 6 weeks to reach their destination. Glad you liked it.
I did enjoy a lot of art. And I had lots of coffee and cinnamon buns and brownies at various museum cafes (which was fun). I sat in the sculpture garden, too. I am going to make a full post soon. I didn't take a lot of photos.

I hope you can spend some nice days while your brother in law is around, and still have some quality time with yourself. :)
