Advent Day 10: Cards & Tags

I love making cards! And I'm done with my card making (except Minisculus says he wants one so I'll making one for him and Minor).



And I did a Jeeves & Wooster double drabble.



I stepped gingerly back into the room, expecting to be dismembered, disowned, dis-something, but no one even seemed to clock my reappearance. The tree was still trimmed, the stockings still hung, and all gifts had been distributed.

“Jeeves!”

“All there you are, sir. I took the liberty of representing you as you were out of the room.”

He handed me a small, wrapped bundle which could only be a pair of gent’s socks.

“Jeeves!”

I looked pointedly at one corner where Roderick Spode and Madeline Bassett were doing what can only be described, with great turning of the stomach, as canoodling. And then, in another corner, Old Mrs. Blankensopp was talking to my Aunt Agatha, advising her to have me put in a home, judging by her expression, one I easily recognised.

“Jeeves, no one is angry with me.”

“No, sir. I took advantage of the commotion caused by young Master Edmunds entry with the Christmas toad to do some swapping of tags.”

My eyes goggled. “You did that!”

“Yes, the situation has been resolved to everyone’s satisfaction. And I don’t think an engagement of you to young Elsie Blankensopp will be forthcoming.”

“God Bless us everyone, Jeeves.”

“Indeed, sir.”

I love the idea of the Christmas toad! Jeeves is the Christmas present we all want.

I just made it up! but it's getting so much love I am definitely going to have to write Edmund the boy scout and the Christmas toad!!

Homemade Christmas cards are the best. I tend to keep those if they were sent to me and usually toss the regular ones out after the New Year. There's something satisfying about making a handmade card and receiving one in return.

Very true! I have one friend who is crafty with her cards and I enjoy them very much!
