Advent Day 18: Ribbons and bows

Advent Day 16: Peppermint
Dec. 16th, 2023 07:39 pmI like peppermint. It's one of my favorite flavors. Right now, the boys' father and I are going through a bag of peppermint mocha coffee. These peppermint embellishments were one of the main reasons I lost my bet with Minor and bought some collage stuff. They were just too pretty. And I save a small sample for next year's cards. A long time ago, a friend and former co-worker gave me the recipe for her Peppermint Party Pie which is mainly Oreos and whipped cream and marshmallow cream and crushed candy canes. My favourite part of the Nutcracker.
Minisculus and I watched the whole ballet tonight, and he loved it! It was wonderful to see him get excited and into it. Yesterday we painted wooden Nutcrackers and I liked Minisculus' pastel rainbow the best. Minor went for lemon-lime.

Advent Day 1: Gingerbread!
Dec. 1st, 2023 12:33 pmToday's theme is Gingerbread!
Today is Cookie Cutter Day! So I decided to make gingerbread cookies. I only have 3 cookie cutters but they are from my mom so they are special and one of the few objects I've kept from my childhood.
I'm waiting for them to cool so I can decorate and I'm keeping a few for the boys to decorate when they get home.
I am trying for more gratitude this month and one thing I am grateful for is the scent of gingerbread!

adventdrabbles I did a bts gen drabble with today's Santa cookie prompt
-sweetandshort the December prompts are winter/Christmas so I did a naughty triple drabble with gingering (bts)
-and as this is the last month ofwatsons_woes, I'm trying to post there as much as possible, so I did an ACD drabble.
