Collage Journaling: new stuff and purple

Showing off some of the new stuff I got with my birthday. Some music paper and art paper and new washi tape.

But it wasn't purple enough for me.



Unlike many collage folks, I rarely put human figures or faces in my collages but this lady seemed liked she belonged.

Thank you. I have plenty of patterns and elements now, plenty of backgrounds and washi tape, the only thing I'm lacking (I realized) is a lot of focal points. Most Youtube collagers like people or characters as the focal point but that's not usually my thing so I have to figure out a substitute.

I used to hate putting people in my collages, but then I got so that I liked using certain figures, but I generally only use them if I'm also doing a collage that includes phrase stickers.
