Crafts: Mini Library - Paintings and Flowers
This is the last post about mi laberinto for a few weeks. I did the 24 paintings (cutting out the pictures and gluing the pictures to the frames and gluing the stand to the back of 2) and the flowers [cutting and rolling paper around the stamens, rolling leaves round the flowers, tying the bouquets (3) and fitting the other flowers in the 2 vases.] All of these were very tiny. There are a few additions (decorations to be glued to shelves and things, like maps, to be laid about), but nothing else requires putting together except the room itself.

Just been looking at the photos in close-up. There's some intriguing images amongst the paintings... And the flowers are so pretty - I particularly like the tied bouquets.
Kudos on all your hard work! ^___^

There are. Even close-up, in person, I don't know what some of them are.
The flowers were Very Fiddly. But the time I got the knack of them, I was done.
Thank you! We'll be taking a break. The next step requires a lot of concentration.
[BTW: I looked but my library doesn't have any Warlock Holmes books in any format. Too bad. It sounds like an interesting pastiche.]

Oh, bless you for taking an interest! ^___^ It might be for the best though - I'm honestly not sure it would be your sort of thing. The series is very Male and Straight, in a way that even the original ACD canon isn't. Nothing innately wrong with something being Male and Straight, of course, but it's a fairly different sensibility from the fandom world. I mean, the novels are fun and enjoyable - and I'm just about to start reading another in the series - but I have mixed feelings. I like them but I'm not madly in love with them ^_^
