My Poems: Original: Symphony: Gen

Title: Symphony
Fandom: Original
Poetic Form: Ottava rima
Rating: Gen
Word Count: 58
Lines: 8
For: Yahtzee - Aces
Notes: Inspired by that tumblr post which compares female orchestra conductors to witches showing off their new spells.
Prompt:

The instruments convened. Eclectic mix.
The elements assembled, picked with care.
New spell to be performed. Pyrectic tricks.
A symphony. An invocation bare.
The ears, attuned, await orectic fix.
The raised baton, the penetrating stare
the pregnant pause of gravid testatrix.
Anticipation grows, a silent dare.
And—whoosh!—raw electricity released!
The music and the magic spring unleashed!

I can imagine my friend (a female conductor) like this!
