Spring tea

Empty the cup and its saucer
and drain the pot of its brew
Afternoon tea isn’t sacred
just pause when the day isn’t through
Make it as strong as you fancy.
I won’t mind a bit if you do.
I’ll take this cup and another,
the hot buttered toast you’ve got, too.

You know, I was going to mention how beautiful the photograph was - but then I thought it might be a bit odd to compliment it because I'd thought it was a professional picture you used as a prompt ^^"

You have such a good eye and a talent for taking photographs, you really do. In an age when there's digital cameras and everyone can potentially take professional level pictures, yours still stand right out.
