Date: 2019-04-23 12:58 pm (UTC)Yes, I went looking for 8-line poetic forms (the rules of the Yahtzee game give you a 10 point bonus if all your fills have the same number of lines and I've already filled the middle category so I was going for the shorter one) and stumbled across The Yeats. I'm not certain it's a Real Form (but then the xenolith, too, is something someone just made up and I like it a lot) but I thought I'd give it a go for the sake of 8 lines. I didn't get the feminine endings and I sort of squidged the 3 accents only per line in the last but I think the rhythm is like the original. And I like Yeats so I think it's good he has a form named for him.
