Here is an The Old Guard quiz: Which Immortal are You?

Warning: the quiz makes you write something in the blank to the quizmaker before you can finish. Also I didn't know any of the Vines (I don't know Vines) and I didn't know any of the sitcom characters except Chandler from Friends so probably for someone with more awareness of recent pop culture than me.

But, I got Nicky, which is right. I don't care in the least about what I wear, I am recovering from a religion that is kind of shit, and I am sucker for a poet.

Also, four The Old Guard Joe/Nicky recs. [Full info in the cut]

1. This is another one with Joe/Nicky and fruit. This time it's cherries. It's even tagged 'fruit as wingman' which I think is hilarious.

2. I love poetic/romantic!Joe and this one has him waxing poetic about Nicky in a way I find very attractive.

3. There are lots of hurt/comfort fics about Joe & Nicky comforting each other after the mission in the film or an AU or pre-canon mission. But this one is HOT! It's Nile outsider POV but that doesn't diminish anything. I made me think 'I'll have whatever [the ficcer who thought this up] is having because this is the best h/c smut I've read in a while.'

4. Another historical fic where Yusuf and Nicolo decide to stop fighting. The ficcer isn't kidding when they tag it 'thick self-indulgent prose' and it's a single chapter of 11k words which is anathema to me! Ugh. For the love of god, don't give me a single chapter of more than 5k. But I read it anyway, and I like the prose.
