Make a rec list of fanworks!

This was difficult because unless you are my friend, I only read BTS fic. BTS is the only fandom I browse. And I mostly read WIPs and unfortunately, many of the WIPs are abandoned and/or update REALLY slowly. On principal, I'm not going to rec anything that's not complete. And frankly I also have a tendency to fall in love with fics and then something happens about 2/3rds of the way in it, and it just loses its flavor in the last chapter(s). So I get disappointed a lot. Nevertheless, I am going to try. All are explicit. Many are Omegaverse.

BTS Rec List

1. Gentle (51160 words) by Endlesswaltz8

Omegaverse. Explicit. Jungkook is the Alpha next door to Omegas Yoongi, Jimin, and Taehyung. I like Endless Waltz's style. I like the other 2 BTS fics they've written. I even have a draft of a Jimin/Namjoon fic set in an AU of theirs. But they only write Stray Kids now. When I can't find anything else to read, I re-read this.

2. Set Me Free (13122 words) by yoonkisses

Canon universe. Explicit. Jimin/Jungkook smut. I like yoonkisses' style too. They do yearning/pining/uncertainty very well. I actually prefer their Yoongi/Jungkook/Jimin one, but this is good too.

3. I Stand Here Again, Waiting (17021 words) by deepslowpanic
Deepslowpanic has a nice style. Jungkook/Yoongi This is an AU where Yoongi is an astronaut long ago thought dead and Jungkook is mission control who hears his desperate signal. Very poignant. Very touching. I got a bit weepy at the end. There's parallel masturbation over the intercom (that's why it's explicit).

4. give your trust to me (7835 words) by pearlmimi

I like pearlmimi's smut style, but it is FILTHY with a captial F and it's Jungkook as a dog hybrid. This is just Jimin/Jungkook. (Jimin is human) but there's another one by them which is filthier with Dog hybrid!Jungkook/his owner Namjoon/therapist Jimin. Definitely dead dove elements for the 'therapy' aspects of it which are pervy to the hilt and bestiality.

5. Learning The Language Of Love (113306 words) by infinitetwinkles

Omegaverse. Explicit Alpha Jungkook/Omega Jimin. Jungkook is the pack alpha. They can't understand each other at first.

6. Hurricane in Paradise (96691 words) by annie_vi

I actually learned some things about deaf culture from this fic! Explicit. AU It's Jimin/Jungkook. Jungkook is deaf. Jimin is a chiropractor. There are side ships NamJin and Taegi and Taehyung is deaf and autistic. The NamJin is cute because Jin owns a cat cafe. She also has a Christmas Jimin/Jungkook AU which is fun.

7. Sweet Cream (124306 words) by JoonieJuly

More animal hybrid filth. OT7. This time Jin is a farmer (?) and Namjoon is a hired help and everyone else is cow, dog, rabbit, and a pair of kittens. All the kinks. All the smuts. Very messy.

8. i'll be your medicine and more (3287 words) by jikookfilth

Jimin/Taehyung/Jin. Nasty Omegaverse filth. Explicit. Jimin is pregnant and lactating and Jin and Taehyung are doctor and nurse. I think even calling this med kink is a bit high-falutin' compared to what I used to read in the BBC Sherlock which (often but not always, of course) had more psychology to it. It's just smut.

This is a 'check myself into a heat center' fic. Jungkook is an Omega and Jimin is a staff Omega and they fall in love.

For the past week, I have been binging on Joe/Nicky fic from The Old Guard despite the fact I haven't seen the film. I have read the comic book [Book 1: Issues 1-5] but mainly have been reading fic and watching the fanvids. I am especially smitten with Joe. Here are some recs.
