Yeah, I can see how the pool resolution would be disappointing too. I watched it to the end and by then disappointment had turned to absolutely bewilderment. It was batshit crazy. But I had never been in a fandom and never thought about TV like that. TV was TV, and what happened happened and it never occurred to me to be disappointed, I think. I liked stuff and didn't like stuff but I was never invested in a show like BBC Sherlock. And the creators were Clever but it went off in a weird tangent.
