Day 14: What fandom broke your heart?

BBC Sherlock. I was devastated when I realized that the show's creators (who prided themselves on being Clever Lads) had no solution for the Fall. To be fair, it was my first fandom and my first experience thinking of a TV show in those terms. I am much more jaded now :)

I still haven't seen anything since the end of season 2. I was so disappointed in how the setup at the pool was resolved at the beginning of s2 that I didn't trust them resolve the fall in a way that felt satisfactory, and by time s3 came out I'd lost interest in otherwise following the show.

I am grateful to the series for connections made to folk, but ended up feeling that they could have done so much more
