Snowflake Challenge Days 13, 14 & 15

In your own space, set some goals for the coming year.
My goals are:
1. a Raffles fic by the Ides (15 March)
2. a Sherlock Holmes locked room casefic by the end of the year (31 December)
3. I've signed up (with Get Your Words Out) for a yearly word count of 250,000. Last year, I did the same with the same goal and went about 80,000 words over my goal. My plan this year is to write only 250,000 words and to use the remaining time to take a bit better care of myself (exercise, make better eating choices, practice my spiritual disciplines and sleep, so that I can do the three former with more regularity and enthusiasm).

In your own space, talk about what you think the future holds for fandom.

Day 15
Talk about why you participated in Snowflake &/or what you got out of it.
I’ve made some new friends and got to learn a bit more about old friends. I’ve got seven lovely new prompts. I got permission to navel-gaze and be philosophical at bit and didn’t feel too guilty or self-conscious about it. I got to express my appreciation for others in fandom and to make others aware of fic and resources that may be entertaining and/or helpful to them. I think it’s a good way to start off the year and the timing of it (with the resurgence of use of DW after the Tumblr mess) couldn’t be better.
