My Art: Inky Quill in a plague doctor mask

This is a painting I did today of my Original Character who is a porcupine poet named Inky Quill. Inky is an American expatriate living in Victorian London, specifically the zoo at Regent's Park. He is wearing a bright blue plague doctor mask and a green-and-pink bow tie.

Notes: This is inspired by exercise #7 of The Ode Less Travelled by Stephen Fry. It is related to the alliteration and two-beat hemistitch found in English poetry's Anglo Saxon roots. The bang, bang, bang, crash rule of Beowulf. The poem itself inspired a chapter, Trinket, in my Vampire Holmes/Werewolf Watson AU, specifically a The Red-Headed League AU.
Prompt:

Quiet in queues are the questions in mews.
Ribboned in rows is the unrighteous prose.
Sisterly cisterns do sit with their blood.
Tiny each tipple that’s tapped from the flood.

Fleeting the flames that are flickering small.
Wickedest wicks cannot whittle the squall.
Candles in canticles canting with froth.
Knavishly knotting the nightwalker’s wrath.
