spring quietude on cottage airfoils flies
wild whipping wind caresses petaled head
sweet attar of storm wafts as trellis sighs

beekeeper seeks refuge in garden shed
unruly pearl-drop tears sob overhead
marooned, beekeeper waits the spring storm out
coarse sacks hang, seedlings lie in frames abed
