Puzzle: Old Martha's Vineyard

I wrote a 500-word Sherlock Holmes (ACD) ficlet about Watson receiving this puzzle at the end of the hiatus and a ghostly presence helping him complete it for flash_fiction Monday challenge of dialogue-only: a puzzling conversation of one.

Music Monday: Fantasie Negre by Florence Price, performed by Samantha Edge

It's Black History Month in the US. Here is a piano work from African American composer Florence Price.

Florence Price dedicated Fantasie Negre (1929) to Margaret Bonds. The theme comes directly from the Negro Spiritual “Sinner, Please Don’t Let This Harvest Pass.” Soon after its composition, a dance troupe, led by Russian ballet teacher Ludmilla Speranza and pioneering African-American choreographer Katherine Dunham, premiered Fantasie Negre as a ballet. Bonds, a frequent and familiar interpreter of Price’s works, accompanied the performance.

Craft: Mi Cafe

Mi cafe is my name for my miniature coffee shop in the making. Sunday mornings are reserved for making small but steady progress. Last Sunday it wasn't very exciting: shelves and a tiny coat rack. This Sunday I didn't have as much time, but I managed a miniature water dispenser. As always, a lesson in accepting imperfection and losing several layers of dermis on my fingers to superglue.
