April is Poetry Month!

April is National Poetry Month in the US!

So I thought I would start the way I ended last April with one of my favourites: Keats!

There are poets and there is Keats. He is an old white man, but I love him so.

unheeded, all signs, orders
portends and science doctored reason, ice
sun forever, sun never
poisonous air and time rendering imprisonment, affliction
drinking inert, nothing-healing elixir
tart flesh, raw of remedy
hidden, the eschewing
stubbornly, explorers, intrepid dogs battle
scurvy
battle-dogs intrepid explorers stubbornly eschewing the hidden remedy of raw flesh
tart elixir, healing nothing, inert
drinking affliction,
imprisonment rendering time and air poisonous
never-sun, forever-sun, ice
reason doctored, lacking vitamins
science and portends, orders, signs, all unheeded
