The State of the Ficcery: September 2022

I am trying not to despair. There's a season for everything. Being 12k away from the monthly goal is...what it is.
Let's focus on the positive.
1. I managed to complete a vertical line BINGO for Season of Kink Bingo before the season ended.
2. I wrote 2 poems.

Next Month: So much! Spook Me. Kinktober. Octobercest. My favourite month of the year.
Reading: I am reading Death on Gokumon Island which is an English translation of Seishi Yokomizo's Golden Age detective Kosuke Kinadaichi series. I also started (on the recommendation of![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
friendofthejabberwock) Plain Bad Heroines by Emily M. Danforth. I'm only a few pages in (the book was too thick to take on holiday) but it seems like my kind of book. The only books I managed to finish this month were Murder is Easy by Agatha Christie and an audiobook version of The Hanging Garden by Ian Rankin (Inspector Rebus, whom I am surprisingly fond of).
Craft: I did the Kandinsky cross-stitch. Collage-wise, seven cards and seven spreads.
Personal: 16 days of exercise. The brother-in-law's visit (he leaves tonight). Soccer season for the boys in full swing. Minor is doing tennis, too, for six weeks. Minisculus is doing Sunday School and First Communion classes. He's also been sick three days out of school. And the washing machine deciding to flood. So that's where my time (and more importantly my attention and focus) has gone!
