Collage Journaling: Ambrosia
Jan. 12th, 2024 04:07 pmI am going to try giving my collages a title and (maybe) stamping the word(s) on the page itself. I am on the fence as to if that's pretentious or a good idea. Time will tell.
New friends may not know, but I like fancy chocolate wrappers, and sometimes friends feed my predilection and I write poems and/or make some kind of collage art with them. I am struggling to come up with a subject for a poem entitled Ambrosia, in part, because where I come from ambrosia is the name of a fruit salad, usually with coconut flakes and marshmallows or marshmallow cream. It's sort of a cousin of the congealed (read: Jello) salad.
Anyway, this week's collage is brought to you by dark chocolate (it says Milk Chocolate but it tasted much more Chocolate than that] and honey [which I didn't taste at all]. Regardless, it was delicious and scarfed down in a matter of minutes.
