The boys like gummy cherries. The peach rings and the watermelon slices have that layer of sugar grit, a texture I appreciate.

No, I wouldn't make a pot pie. But every now and then they hit the spot. Especially cold weather Sundays when I don't want to cook. I had to eat the little ones by Banquet when I was a kid. My grandmother made them a lot. They were cheap.

Ah, I don't usually eat rice by itself (or with just butter or sugar). I could. But I usually put it with something, but I get the appeal of rice pudding and it usually smells really good. I like bread pudding, too. In New Orleans, they always put like molasses and nuts and and rum and other stuff in it, to make it, you know, UNBELIEVABLY GOOD. :)
