Yes, almost all my stuff is metrical verse and I like to try to match the subject matter with a particular established poetic form (sonnet, villanelle, etc.) so there's always a syllable pattern (which is difficult for me to keep, of course!) and a rhyme pattern. The ballad is a sort of simple form so I tried to keep the rhyme simple, too. Thanks for commenting!
