You might like "Return of the Obra Dinn" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Return_of_the_Obra_Dinn). It's a mystery/puzzle type game where you're an insurance inspector in 1807. Your job is to investigate the Obra Dinn, a ghost ship that has been found with the entire crew missing. Your job is to to perform an appraisal, reconstruct the events of the voyage, and determine the fates of all sixty souls aboard, providing a cause of death for those deceased or a probable current location for those presumed living. Investigation is accomplished through the use of the "Memento Mortem", a pocket watch capable of transporting its user to the moment of death of any "corpse" (which is to say traces of things or a bloodstain or a few bones) located during your investigation.
I found it a lot of fun. There is absolutely no shooting or killing things; everything that has happened has already happened. You wander around and find clues and figure out what happened, mostly by means of watching cut scenes tied to the watch and tying those scenes to evidence and clues. It's well-written. I wound up taking lots of notes in order to put everything together, but that's just me.
