Yesterday, J tried to use his phone to pay for the cleaning of his car, but their machine wouldn't accept it, so I had to drive over with my card to do so - fortunately it's not far away.

Christmas cards are a perfectly reasonable excuse for buying new materials - you want to enjoy making them.
