Watson Wednesdays

stonepicnicking_okapiLast week, I watched the two Robert Downey Jr. Sherlock Holmes films. The first one is okay, but I confess the second one (Game of Shadows) did not hold my attention any more than it did the first time I watched it, meaning by the time it ended, I was mostly paying attention to something else.
My main thought was about Jude Law as Watson, who does a good job, (Robert Downey Jr I feel is always playing Robert Downey Jr. regardless of the role) I think, but I couldn't help thinking that he was trying very hard to be this guy (Vitaly Solomin from the old Russian version of Sherlock Holmes with Livanov as Holmes. I like this Watson more.)
