what I didn’t know.
The next television showed
where I couldn’t go.
The third television made
muddle of my thoughts.
The fourth television bade
eyes see only spots.
The fifth television laughed
at a joke I missed.
The sixth television cracked
once upon my fist.

I rode away on two-wheeled steed
from not-my-visions ever freed.
