Yesterday I borrowed hairclippers from the downstairs neighbor (the good ones online are out of stock or horribly expensive on ebay) and gave everyone a haircut (Minor, Minisculus, and their father) and felt really USEFUL for the first time in ages and ages.

Edited to add: I let the boys and the father cut my hair with the scissors and they had a very good time.

Thank you! I felt unusually accomplished. But, no, the lightsaber photo was taken last week when Minor's lightsaber (birthday gift from my sister) arrived. I am emailing you a couple of 'after shearing.'

Yahoo for cutting hair and being brave for them to return the favor.

That's been my job for a bit and after the big cut I keep finding hairs that need trimming and drag them back into the chair for fixing.

Thanks. I don't really feel much of anything about my own hair. I keep it long because the boys' father likes it but other than brushing and keeping it out of my face, I haven't any opinions about it.

Yeah, well, the clippers weren't ours and I returned them to the neighbor, but I suppose I could get them with the scissors if I needed to. Nobody is seeing them, so it doesn't really matter much.
