Thanks for all the well wishes. I had a good birthday. There was cake, and I worked on a puzzle and watched old Poirot films (Peter Ustinov's Death on the Nile and Evil Under the Sun). But more importantly, I didn't have to cook or do laundry. I am 45 now. Meh. Not much to say about that.
