Puzzle: Manfield Air Spectacular

I am not patriotic, so I resisted getting this puzzle, even though I'd seen it in the catalogue for a long time, because of the red-white-blue motif (Charles Wysocki did an even worse one called 'So Proudly We Hail' which is mostly flags and bunting). But I saw this one in the store on the last day of my shopping before the pandemic lockdown hit in March, and I thought, why not? So I saved it for the Fourth of July weekend. It was fairly easy except for those slivers of clouds and blue.

I like it - and yes, not ultra-patriotic - I like the planes.

He always has at least one American flag in his puzzles. And sometimes that's a good thing because it's fairly easy to spot those pieces in the box and pull them out. But, yes, the planes are nice. The boys and I have begun your bird puzzle but it is hard!! We've done the border but the rest is slow going. That's a good thing.

I really like this picture because of the colors -- so bright and colorful and happy! (Also, really love the planes and the horse and carriage).
