stonepicnicking_okapiI bought a National Geographic kit 'Build your own volcano' over the summer, and the boys and I never got around to doing it. Today, I gave it to them to stave off boredom and let them use my wee British village (which I call Saint Mary Mead) to put in its path. It kept them busy (mold, painting, etcetera) most of the afternoon.
Edited to add: It erupted but it did not explode, which was just a bit disappointing.
