John tried not to blush. “I can’t believe you got all that from a fellow’s eyeglasses fogging up when he drank a steaming cup of mulled wine.”
“That’s where it started,” replied Sherlock, looking smug, “Of course, that’s not where it ended.”
“No,” agreed John, hissing as Sherlock pressed the ice to her knuckles. “Good thing he didn’t really need those glasses, seeing as how they’re in a million pieces now.”
“I don’t think it’s much consolation that his nose is only in three.”
