Summary: Stella surprises Sally.
Sally threw her keys in a bowl and stepped into the kitchen. She planted a cold kiss on Stella’s cheek and asked, “Hullo, hullo, hullo! What’s all this?”
“Surprise!”
Sally eyed the bottle of rum as Stella ladled dark red liquid from a bowl into a glass.
“Wray & Nephew! Did you make Christmas Sorrel? For me?”
Stella smiled. “I know you’re supposed to drink it at parties, but this Christmas, well…”
“Yeah, this year, everyone dipping from the same punch bowl isn’t the best idea.”
“Party of two?”
Sally grinned. “Best kind.”
She took the glass. Stella raised hers.
