Yesterday was a nice day. There were well wishes and two lovely ficlets, smallhobbit who wrote about Ferret and Bertie Wooster dancing and singing in Party 't the Savoy and scfrankles inviting some of my favourite literary characters to share a soiree in The Sincerest Form of Flattery. Lovely cards, in envelopes and electronic. A new book and some nice chocolate. I worked on a puzzle and watched Midsomer Murders and read. I finished The Gentle Art of Fortune-Hunting by K. J. Charles. I watched part of the newer Aladdin film and puzzled over Marwan Kenzari's accent. And I didn't have to cook dinner or prepare the boys' lunches. And I made myself a miniature felt pear.



And Minisculus and his father made cupcakes. I picked out the icing and sprinkles.
