surveying with a wild surmise the shore
from sea, on round-the-world-in-eighty jaunt,
as is my wont, a quote arose, I struck
a pose of boy-on-burning-deck repose.

The princes organous, their high blood chaf'd'—
then came soft cough of ocean-faring sheep
of briny blade in ovine throat, then sir’s,
‘I think the word you want is orgulous.’
‘but organs raise the blood for chaf’ing, Jeeves.’
‘the Bard preferred a word for ‘haughty,’ sir,
are orgulous, his princes’ viscera.’
‘it’s nothing to start a war about, Jeeves,’

Clearly anything Shakespearean requires a sonnet, even if Bertie has the wrong word. Very clever use of the prompt and I did like the cough of ocean-faring sheep!

Thank you! Yes, I am going for 5 sonnets with this set of prompts to get the bonus points for poems with the same number of lines. And when I looked up orgulous, the Shakespeare quote was included in the dictionary reference. But I knew it had to be a blank verse sonnet because trying to Bertie voice with some kind of metre AND rhyme was too much.
