Day 8: Crack!fic - We all know it. What's your opinion of it, and if you want, show us an example.
I like crack. I read it. I admire ficcers who can make the pieces of the original fit neatly into an absurd alternate universe.
Examples. Wow. Like with the poly section, shall we take it from the top?
Holidays bring out a lot of fic and crack. I've done Sherlock/Lestrade/John PWP as the Three Wise Men getting it on in an oasis in Field and Fountain, Moor and Mountain. I've done a Santa's Workshop AU PWP with Lestrade as Santa and everyone else as elves. Also, as I mentioned I've done Mycroft/Sherlock/Lestrade/John as the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. I've done Sherlock Holmes as a vampire in 3 separate AUs. John owning a candle shop for Hallowe'en.
I've done BBC Sherlock's Sherlock and John as New Mexico whiptails (lesbian lizards) Under a Western Sky.
I've also done BBC Sherlock's John and Sherlock's clothes getting it on in Laundry Day.
The line between crack and kink is a thin one. I've done a whole series of BBC Sherlock's Mycroft/Lestrade doing alien oviposition role play, SPORCH.
