Prompt 3: Hecate
Otherworldly and mysterious, Hecate is best known for her association with magic, ghosts, and the night. If you hear the baying of hounds in the dark, she's likely near as they were ever at her side. She is traditionally depicted as bearing two torches to light her way or as a triple goddess of the crossroads. In mythology she is known for helping Demeter search for her daughter Persephone, a theme that ties her even more to the Underworld and spirits she is associated with. Today she is often considered a representative of those liminal places where reality bends and all manner of events may unfold...

Pod works:

I enjoy suspense/horror fictional podworks. I liked the first season of "Alice Isn't Dead" and the first season of "The Magnus Archives" and I am just starting "I am in Eskew." I welcome any recommendations in these vein [all of these I learned about via garonne]. I prefer stories that are set in the real world but have horror/suspenseful/eerie/supernatural elements and can tolerate a middling amount of gore and violence. The Magnus Archives got too complicated for me, and I wasn't crazy about a new voice in Season 2 of "Alice Isn't Dead" so my history so far is to abandon listening after the first season of something.

I think I will be pretty good at them by the end of the month (moodboards). Ah, you are very clever. You would outwit the sphinx. I found a riddle page I like. I may do something else with some of the simpler ones.

I'm HoH so don't so audio stuff often, however my buddy shared a post of podcast reccs that I bookmarked for such occassions (so take a look and see if anything interests you).

The moodboard has a very mysterious vibe with all the empty passageways.

So glad you liked it! Yes, I enjoyed the first season of Alice very much, and I read the book, but I didn't listen to further seasons.
