Wrapping up my participation in the Snowflake Challenge a couple of weeks late.

Challenge 12: Commit an Act of Kindness (or two or three ♥).

I'm a mom. This is sort of hard-wired into the job description. At the moment, I am fulfilling seemingly endless requests for photos of dragons printed from the internet for the boys to trace. On Saturday, I, who absolutely hate to cook and yet am forced by life choices to cook 3 meals a day 363 days of the year, without grumbling, made a Key Lime Cake for the boys' father's birthday.

Challenge 14: In your own space, share your love for a trope, cliché, kink, motif, or theme.

I like bed-sharing. I like pining resolved and miscommunication resolved. I like soul-mate fics. I like Sentinel 'verse, Omegaverse, and vampires and werewolves. There are very few kinks I don't like. Writing on the body is a nice one you don't see often. I like when both/all parties bring something to the task at hand (e.g., in case fic or other problem solving situations). I like empathy and acknowledgement of weakness and failures. Tolerance for eccentricities. I like Clever. I like a Nice Suit. I like animals for humor and poignancy.

No. I believe that most of the people reading this are living under Fascist Regimes bent on the destruction of the environment and basic human decency. Survival (with our will to create and consume art intact) is challenge enough.
