Into the Void
Jun. 26th, 2021 08:51 pmIt's been a good couple of days. I took the boys to the pool today. I also took them out bike riding. There was one day of blessed silence and now the rock tumbler is on again. RRRR! Stage 2 is 7 days.
Minor finished his Star Wars craft: Anakin's Mechno-Arm.
We also finished the Pokemon puzzle [500 pieces, Buffalo Games].
And I also finished the cross stitch for my sister's birthday.
I decided at the very last minute to whip out a final fic for the GYWO Yahtzee challenge and I ended up in 6th [out of 15] place with 135 points.
I finished the audiobook version of Book 1 of the Rivers of London series yesterday, at a speed that could definitely be considered 'binge' for me. I am listening to Book 2 now. I like the narrator's voice. British is best, but Black British is better :)
My sister gave me a gift card to an online clothing store for Christmas and I finally ordered some summer things and they arrived yesterday. Two tank tops and swim shorts and regular shorts. Everything fits. One pair of shorts is backordered. One of the tank tops is a nice red-orange but it does make me look like an GIGANTIC tomato. It's a nice colour but I don't think I exactly thought it through.
I got a very nice BBC Sherlock postcard of Mermaid!Sherlock and human!John from a kind member of the Multi-Fandom Postcard Exchange.
