Weary with toil, I haste me to my bed,
The dear repose for limbs with travel tired;
But then begins a journey in my head,
To work my mind, when body's work's expired:
For then my thoughts (from far where I abide)
Intend a zealous pilgrimage to thee,
And keep my drooping eyelids open wide,
Looking on darkness which the blind do see:
Save that my soul's imaginary sight

In general, I like puzzles, riddles, word play, and banter. I prioritize plot over relationships. Any rating. In terms of sexually explicit works, I am not terribly fond of humiliation and degradation. I prefer happy endings. I prefer that the Good Guys (including animals) live and no major character death.

I am offering (and requesting) Sherlock Holmes ACD, Lord Peter Wimsey, Inspector Alleyn, Venom, Cadfael and Arthur/Eames from the film Inception.

The most intriguing ask/offer from the tagset was a solo for Duchess Dowager of Denver (so Lord Peter's mum) and I am sort of keen on showing that Lord Peter gets his sleuthing skills honestly and the idea of her telling Lord Peter a bedtimes story of one of her cases is a fun one, no?
