Dear Creator of CaseFic Exchange:
Thank you for creating for me. Please have fun! And lean into your own strengths and interests.
In general, I like puzzles, riddles, word play, and banter. I prioritize plot over relationships. Any rating. In terms of sexually explicit works, I am not terribly fond of humiliation and degradation. I prefer happy endings. I prefer that the Good Guys (including animals) live and no major character death.
Sherlock Holmes (ACD) Some ideas
An Untold Cases. [https://www.arthur-conan-doyle.com/index.php/Category:Untold_Stories]
Something related one of Holmes' many monographs
Something related to music, Holmes & Watson attending a performance or Holmes' violin or violin-playing
An army-mate of Watson's looking for help
A case which makes use of one of Holmes' many disguises
*the only small pet peeve I'm not especially keen on is Victorian era stories where Holmes and Watson call each other by their first names.
Lord Peter Wimsey
I like Lord Peter on the case (with or without Bunter and Inspector Parker).
Something related to old books
Something related to goings on at a country house
Something in the fog
Also I am very intrgued by the idea of Lord Peter's mum as sleuth.
Anything like a bedtime story she tells Lord Peter about one of her cases or if she uses her wits to defend young Lord Peter from an accusation
She's involved in church life so anything related to the local church would be good
Inception
The point of Arther and Eames is the sassy banter and looking handsome and the dreamscape. It's the one where I am most shippy. You can lean into the chemistry (or not).
inside a dream (of Arthur, of Eames, of a Villain)
shopping for clothes or getting clothes made
traveling together (car, train, boat, cable car, the odder mode of transportation the better)
Cadfael
Something involving herbs, even as simple as a body found in the herb garden.
Something involving candles, wax as a clue or holy candles stolen or the height of a candle showing how much time has passed.
I like stories where Cadfael's empathy and mercy are shown. And his knowledge and understanding of secular life.
Venom
Anything would be intriguing. You can do a canon setting or an AU where you put them in a different time and place (but still symbiote and host). Bonus points if Venom eats the Bad Guys in the end. Crack, whether treated seriously or not, is welcome.
Have fun. It doesn't have to be long. A simple puzzle + solution is fine.
